CDSK cheat-sheet
A one-page reference for CDSK (“How well do you know…?”). Players: 2–16 in teams. Time: 20–45 minutes. The twist: you decide how hard a question you’ll face by rating how well you know the topic.
The name is the four categories: Curious, Delightful, Seasoned, Knowledge.
- Open the box — the board is ready to go. Question cards can stay in the box (or shuffle them if you like).
- Split into teams (give newer players bigger teams if needed).
- The game doesn’t come with team tokens — grab something (coins, buttons, pieces from another game).
- Put each team’s token at the Classic or Express start (Express is the shorter game).
The four categories
Section titled “The four categories”- Curious — precise or bizarre subjects
- Delightful — movies, music, sports, pop culture
- Seasoned — grown-up stuff: weddings, anniversaries, gardening
- Knowledge — science, nature, history, geography, school
On your team’s turn
Section titled “On your team’s turn”- A player from another team draws a card matching the category your token is on and reads out the subject.
- Your team quickly decides, on a scale of 1 to 10, how well you know that subject, and says the number.
- The reader asks the question at that number (each card has 10 questions, getting harder as the number goes up).
- Right → move forward that many spaces. Wrong → stay put.
Challenge spaces
Section titled “Challenge spaces”Land on a challenge space and another team draws a challenge card instead — often a list of true/false statements where you move forward one space for each one you get right.
Winning
Section titled “Winning”Reach the final space, then answer a “hurry up and win” question. Get it right and you win; miss it and you try again next turn. First team to do it wins.
